The Houthi militia renewed its bombing of the positions of the Yemeni army and the resistance in the south of Ma'rib governorate, using various types of weapons, including booby-trapped marches, as part of their combat escalation on the Ma'rib fronts, with the aim of storming the liberated areas.

Field sources stated that the militias are trying in various ways to reach the oil and gas sources in Marib, and to achieve this they mobilized all their combat capabilities, noting that the Yemeni forces and the resistance thwarted all Houthi attempts during the last period, which were concentrated in the sandy and mountainous axes in Marib.

On the other hand, the Saudi project for demining Yemen, "Masam", announced the removal of 1,408 mines and unexploded ordnance from militia remnants within a week, in the liberated areas.

A statement of the project indicated that during the period from the beginning of this December, 2,407 mines were cleared, distributed among “103 anti-tank mines, 16 anti-personnel mines, 1,259 non-explosive ordnance, and 4 explosive devices,” bringing the total mines and ammunition removed since the beginning of the “Masam” project to 377,000. And 608 mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive devices.
