On October 11, FIFA revealed the value of this amount, which amounted to $209 million. It will pay compensation to clubs for every day that their players stayed during the tournament matches, including the preparatory period that precedes the start of the World Cup.

The clubs will earn $10,000 for each day each player stays with his national team, including the preparatory period, provided that the player has already participated in his club’s matches, two years before the start of the tournament.

Atletico Madrid (3.15 million euros)

Atletico Madrid benefited from the arrival of four of its players to the final of the Qatar World Cup 2022, bringing its total profits to 3.15 million euros.

And the Argentine trio participated in the final: Rodrigo de Paul, Angel Correa and Nahuel Molina, in addition to their French colleague Antoine Griezmann.
