Before the start of the twenty-second edition of the World Cup, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced that it would distribute sums of money to clubs, in return for sending their players to participate with their countries in the World Cup.
On October 11, FIFA revealed the value of this amount, which amounted to $209 million. It will pay compensation to clubs for every day that their players stayed during the tournament matches, including the preparatory period that precedes the start of the World Cup.
The clubs will earn $10,000 for each day each player stays with his national team, including the preparatory period, provided that the player has already participated in his club’s matches, two years before the start of the tournament.
In these lines, we highlight the top 10 clubs, whose coffers will be refreshed with FIFA rewards, after the end of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar:
Atletico Madrid (3.15 million euros)
Atletico Madrid benefited from the arrival of four of its players to the final of the Qatar World Cup 2022, bringing its total profits to 3.15 million euros.
And the Argentine trio participated in the final: Rodrigo de Paul, Angel Correa and Nahuel Molina, in addition to their French colleague Antoine Griezmann.

In addition to this quartet, there are 9 other players who participated in the World Cup from the "Roky Blancos", namely: Koke, Alvaro Morata and Marcos Llorente with Spain, Joao Felix with Portugal, Axel Witsel and Yannick Carrasco, Jose Jimenez with Uruguay, Hector Herrera with Mexico, and Daniel SPA with Denmark.
Tottenham Hotspur (3.55 million euros)
Tottenham Hotspur, who will earn 3.55 million euros, participated in the World Cup in Qatar through many of its players. French Hugo Lloris and Argentine Christian Romero reached the final.

In addition to these two players, Ivan Perisic won the bronze medal with Croatia, while Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Richarlison bid farewell to the World Cup with England and Brazil in the quarter-finals, and South Korean Son Heung preceded them, who left from the final price.
Ajax Amsterdam (3.58 million euros)
Ajax will receive about 3.58 million euros, for the participation of 11 of its players in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Seven of the Netherlands national team: Stephen Berges, Daley Blind, Stephen Bergwijn, Davy Claassen, Urian Timber, Remko Pasveer and Kenneth Taylor reached the quarter-finals with the "mills".

While the Mexican duo Edson Alvarez and Jorge Sanchez, and their colleagues Muhammad Quddous from Ghana, and Dusan Tadic from Serbia bid farewell to the World Cup in the group stage, while the owner of the achievement was Nicolas Tagliafico, who crowned the title with the Argentine national team.
Real Madrid (4.29 million euros)
Real Madrid appeared in the Qatar World Cup 2022 with 13 players. The Merengue will receive 4.29 million euros for their travel to the World Cup.
At the forefront of these players is the French trio, Karim Benzema, who remained on the list despite his departure from the "roosters" camp before the start of the World Cup, along with Orolin Chawamini and Eduardo Camavinga, who reached the final.

Chelsea (4.37 million euros)
Chelsea will receive €4.37m, although their players have produced mixed performances during the 22nd edition of the World Cup.
Hakim Ziyash with Morocco and Mateo Kovacets with Croatia finished fourth and third, respectively, while Thiago Silva with Brazil reached the quarter-finals, and the same applies to the English trio: Connor Gallagher, Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling.

As for the American, Christian Pulisic, and the Senegalese Edouard Mendy, they were eliminated from the World Cup in the round of 16, and the German Kai Havertz preceded them by exiting the group stage.

The Parisian club arrived at the World Cup in Qatar with eleven players, led by Argentine world champion Lionel Messi and his runner-up, Kylian Mbappe.

After them comes the Moroccan Ashraf Hakimi, who finished fourth, then the Brazilian duo Marquinhos and Neymar da Silva, and the Portuguese trio: Nuno Mendes, Danilo Pereira and Vitina, all of whom were eliminated from the quarter-finals.
As for the Spanish duo, Carlos Soler and Pablo Sarabia, they were knocked out by Morocco in the round of 16, and Keylor Navas preceded them, who contented himself with the group stage with Costa Rica.
Manchester United (4.65 million euros)
The holder of the record number of times winning the English Premier League will receive 4.65 million euros from his players participating in the World Cup.
Harry Maguire reached the quarter-finals with England, the same stage that Anthony and Casemiro reached with Brazil, and Borno Fernandez and Diogo Dalot with Portugal.

In addition to these, Dayot Upamecano, Theo Hernandez, and Walkingsley Coman participated with France until the final, Matthias de Ligt with the Netherlands until the quarter-finals, and Josip Stanisic and Naseer Mazraoui with Croatia and Morocco, respectively.

FC Barcelona is the team whose players participated the most in the World Cup in Qatar, with 17 players, for whom an amount of 5.34 million euros will be awarded.
Eric Garcia, Alejandro Balde, Jordi Alba, Pedri, Gavi, Busquets, Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres wore the Spain shirt, which was deposited in the round of 16, while Jules Conde and Osman Dembele represented France.

Argentine Julian Alvarez was better than Manchester City in the Qatar World Cup, by reaching the final match, while the hopes of goalkeeper Ederson with Brazil and defender Nathan Ake with the Netherlands were dashed at the quarter-final stage.

The English quintet: Kyle Walker, John Stones, Phil Foden, Jack Gerelich and Calvin Phillips met the same fate, as well as the Portuguese trio: Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo and Robin Dias.
