This Christmas present is something to be proud of.

At the Moosburg Aunt Emma, 19,730 euros were donated for social purposes during the financial year.

Moosburg

- The two chairmen Johannes Becher and Klaus Reichel had invited to a press conference to announce the distribution of the donations in more detail.

You had received 28 funding applications with a specific desired sum of 38,000 and plus the applications without a sum you could have invested more than 50,000 euros.

"The need is there, and that doesn't make it easy," says Johannes Becher.

The social Moosburg association earns the money through its second-hand shop.

This fulfills the three pillars of the association "social - ecological - humanitarian".

Useful clothing and objects are brought back into the goods cycle, the needs of socially disadvantaged people are met at low cost - and thanks to the income, there is a real rain of donations at the end of the year.

For this purpose, the association had formed a commission

Donated more than 100,000 euros in six years

With the current distribution, the six-year-old Aunt Emma association has already exceeded the total donation sum of 100,000 euros.

Johannes Becher explains that they want to support regional aid projects.

But you also think outside the box and support international projects if there are Moosburg protagonists there.

In the meantime, Aunt Emma is also receiving inquiries from Munich, "but that overwhelms our possibilities".

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

When presenting the projects, Becher asked the Moosburgers to hand over bobby cars or tricycles that were no longer needed to Aunt Emma.

These are then to be handed over to the mothers' café in Freising as a donation in kind.
