Dubai Municipality launched the Freej Market initiative, which is the first of its kind to attract small projects and present them to the public, in which 30 projects for young citizens participate.

Market participants stressed the importance of the experience to support their products and businesses, calling for repeating the organization of this initiative at the state level, especially in universities, to encourage students to establish their own projects.

Manal Al Amiri, Senior Operations Officer at Dubai Municipality, told Emirates Today: “Dubai Municipality is organizing the Freej Market initiative in Al Barsha Lake Park, over a period of 10 days, and the market includes 30 stalls for owners of small and medium enterprises, with a variety of products, to sell.”

Al-Amiri added that the initiative includes a special area for children's games, and a special area for selling food.

Citizen Muhammad Al-Balushi, participating in the market, confirmed that the exhibition, which is held within the “Al-Fareej Market” initiative, is vital and beneficial to businesses and small and medium enterprises, and helps support home businesses, especially for citizens or residents who work in their homes.

He added, “We participate in many exhibitions, benefit from the experiences that are presented in them, and learn through them about different products and events, and contribute to the development of business, by exchanging experiences between exhibitors and participants.” household.

"We specialize in selling all household needs, and the Al-Fareej market is a wonderful opportunity to display products to consumers in an atmosphere of fun and entertainment," said Talal Muhammad Al Ali, the official of the "I Home" company for furnishings and furniture.

He added that Dubai Municipality succeeded in choosing the location to launch the Al Fareej Market initiative, which is Al Barsha Lake Park, noting that the events accompanying the market support consumer demand for the goods offered, by organizing it in a public place frequented by many families.

He demanded that the initiative be circulated at the state level, so that it would be organized on a monthly basis, in major public parks in each emirate, which would support small business owners in developing their businesses.

Citizen Nora Darwish mentioned that the Souk Al Fareej initiative from Dubai Municipality for medium and small projects encourages young citizens to establish their own projects, and opens the way for Emirati household products to be marketed and displayed in public places in a civilized manner.

And she appreciated the directives of the government and the leadership of the state in supporting young citizens, through the various initiatives that open wide areas for work and production in front of them, adding: “We consider government initiatives a strong incentive for us and our small projects that begin their first steps in the business world, as the initiatives provide all the capabilities that any merchant needs.” junior".

She added that it would be a good idea to set up the Al-Fareej market in a garden in the middle of citizens' homes, noting that her project is ready-made clothes.

She suggested that the competent authorities organize some activities to display the products of small projects for young citizens in local universities, in support of these projects, and urging university students to go towards establishing their own projects.

Citizen Amal Al-Sheikh said, "I participated in the Al-Fareej market wearing women's clothing and a variety of jalabiyas," praising the market's initiative, which is a meeting point for multiple experiences of project owners, to benefit and exchange experiences, about supply, production methods, and overcoming challenges.

She pointed out that participation in marketing initiatives organized by government agencies leads to the development of participating projects, and their products are marketed well.

And the Dubai Municipality announced the “Al-Fareej Market” initiative, which was launched yesterday in Al Barsha Lake Park, and will continue until November 27, and will be organized by the municipality in “Al Warqa 3” park from the first of next January until the 10th of the same month.

The Freej Market initiative is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to promote their products, and aims to support their small and medium enterprises, and open commercial communication channels for them, in order to display their local household products in one place, and this comes within the framework of Dubai Municipality's efforts to provide investment opportunities for Emirati entrepreneurs Neighborhood residents, and raising the level of competitiveness among them, to provide the best product and the lowest price to the consumer, in addition to enhancing confidence in household products.
