The climate stickers have announced the next action in Munich.

The police are preparing and announcing a new plan.

Munich – Resistance instead of Christmas: The activists of the “Last Generation” are planning their next protest under this motto.

On Twitter, they announced that they would be stuck again on the street at Stachus on Tuesday at 8 a.m.

And this despite the fact that the city has prohibited exactly such actions by general decree.

The climate fight is entering the next round - and drivers should once again bring a lot of patience.

The police now want to ask the activists to pay for this.

Munich: Costs for climate adhesives can rise into the four-digit range

"If it should happen again, we will claim the costs incurred in removing the vehicle from the road," says police spokesman Andreas Franken.

They start at 250 euros and can go into the four-digit range depending on the duration of the assignment.

In any case, the police are prepared for Tuesday and want to send enough forces to the Stachus.

"Our goal is to prevent local actions," says Franken.

The problem: It is unclear what form the protest will take.

The police cannot be everywhere at once.

"We are focusing on the old town area, but we will not flood the city center with force," says Franken.

Seven activists still at large

Two weeks ago things were different.

At that time there was a meeting notice for the demonstration of the activists.

But the city's attempt to cooperate with the activists failed miserably.

So the general decree was issued from December 10th.

Most recently, there was a blockade at Munich Airport: four men between the ages of 19 and 60 were stuck on a taxiway on the northern runway.

Three women between the ages of 30 and 42 wanted to climb over a fence in the south of the airport, which was prevented.

The seven had been taken into custody and were released on Saturday as scheduled.

Two activists are still behind bars in Munich until January 5th.

It wouldn't be surprising if Tuesday sees the same faces again.

Even if the most active would provoke people to spend Christmas in Stadelheim.

True to the motto: Resistance instead of Christmas.
