Pushilin: Russian forces take control of the city center of Maryanka

The Acting President of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, announced that the Russian forces had taken control of the center of the city of Maryanka, and that the Ukrainian forces had evacuated it.

Pushilin said on the channel (Russia 24), according to Novosti Agency: “The Russian forces took control of the heights that the Ukrainian forces took as their headquarters, and that the Kyiv forces remained in a small part of the city that work is underway to liberate it, after that work will be done to liberate the city of Krasnogorovka directly.”

Pushilin pointed out that the Ukrainian forces are still launching counter-attacks in the Mayorsk region, but the Russian units are standing in front of them and advancing towards Dzerzhinsk, and that work is underway to liberate the village of Yakovlevka in the Donetsk axis.
