In an interview with our colleagues from "Puremédias", Jean-Louis Blot, the president of Endemol France, explained that he wanted to relaunch two emblematic programs of reality TV: "Loft Story" and "Secret Story".
According to him, these programs have the advantage of "creating noise" on social networks.

Jean-Louis Blot, the president of Endemol France, revealed that he wanted to relaunch two emblematic reality TV programs French: "Loft Story" and "Secret Story".
Programs that can be declined
"We are working on the return of
Secret Story, Loft Story
or the arrival of
Big Brother
.
We are convinced that this is what corresponds to the use of television program consumption today", assures the president of Endémol France.
According to him, these shows are perfect for reacting on social networks.
And, they can be declined in different formats: prime, daily, second part of the evening... "These broadcasts make it possible to create noise on social networks and can be consumed on Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Facebook or Twitch. They are suitable for SVOD, AVOD and can have multiple linear products," he argues.

"These shows are perfectly suited to the way of consuming content"
For Jean-Louis Blot, "we are in something completely protean which is perfectly suited to what television should be today".
"It's funny, because these shows were invented 20 years ago, but they are now perfectly adapted to the way of consuming content. What shows can do so much content on so many different mediums today?" he, very enthusiastic about the idea of reviving these shows.
It remains to be seen when this project will materialize...
