Russia announces joint naval exercises with China

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the exercises will take place from December 21 to 27 in the East China Sea, and their main goal is to strengthen maritime cooperation between Russia and China.
The ministry stated that the maneuvers will include the firing of live missiles and artillery, and exercises to confront submarines.
