Serious traffic accident in front of the Wörthsee motorway exit

Both vehicles suffer economic total losses.

Weßling – A head-on collision occurs in front of the Wörthsee motorway exit.
A young driver from Grafrath overlooks a road user from Geltendorf.
The serious accident happened on Friday, just before 7 p.m., on the A96 in the direction of Munich.
A 30-year-old driver came from the direction of Wörthsee and wanted to turn left onto the A 96 towards Munich.
Here, however, the 66-year-old Geltendorfer came to meet him.
30-year-old triggers serious accident
The 30-year-old turned off without letting the 66-year-old drive through, which led to the accident.
Both parties collided head-on with their cars.
The airbags were deployed in both vehicles, but no one was injured in the accident.
The car of the person who caused the accident and that of the oncoming vehicle both suffered a total loss and had to be towed from the scene of the accident.
Around 30,000 euros property damage - Weßling fire brigade diverts traffic
The estimated total damage is currently around 30,000 euros.
After about two hours of traffic diversion, the Weßling fire brigade was able to open the state road and the motorway entrance to traffic again.
