Irfan Arslan sees his company Advanced Aesthetic as a "trust company" that exists for patients who have no idea how the healthcare system works in the country.
- It is good that there is a company that can defend the patient's rights before the foreign hospital.
Part of the aftercare for Advanced Aesthetics' clients takes place in a hotel, without nursing staff.
Sara Jadid believes that she received no help during her days there.
According to Irfan Arslan, the hotel staff are informed that their guests are newly operated and can help if needed.
"Have caused the infection myself"
The Turkish surgeon who carried out the procedure on Sara Jadid believes that they did nothing wrong and that they have carried out follow-up checks in the right way.
If they had seen signs of infection, Sara would not have been allowed to return to Sweden so quickly.
Irfan Arslan believes that Sara Jadid herself bears responsibility for the failed operation because she did not take care of her aftercare.
- It's really sad, I'm really sad about this.
But unfortunately I can't take the responsibility, says Irfan Arslan.
But according to Sara Jadid's doctor at the emergency room in Sweden, there is nothing to indicate that she would have caused her blood poisoning herself.
