  The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of the Ministry of the Interior of Thailand stated that nine provinces in southern Thailand, including Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, and Pattani, were severely flooded. Currently, there are more than 1,000 villages in 49 counties in these provinces. More than 50,000 households were affected and 3 people were killed.

  In addition, the storm has affected nearly 100 villages and more than 960 households in eastern, northeastern and southern Thailand, and killed 2 people.

  The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has coordinated flood-stricken areas to speed up flood fighting and rescue work to help the affected people get out of trouble.

At the same time, the department began to assess the damage of the areas hit by the typhoon, and will provide financial assistance in accordance with relevant regulations.

  On the 19th, Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Zhu Lin went to southern Thailand to inspect the flood situation, and asked the affected areas to fight the disaster with all their strength, ensure the supply of daily necessities for the people, and severely crack down on price gouging.

  Thailand's Meteorological Department previously predicted that the above-mentioned disastrous weather will continue until the 20th of this month.
