The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has coordinated flood-stricken areas to speed up flood fighting and rescue work to help the affected people get out of trouble.
At the same time, the department began to assess the damage of the areas hit by the typhoon, and will provide financial assistance in accordance with relevant regulations.
On the 19th, Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Zhu Lin went to southern Thailand to inspect the flood situation, and asked the affected areas to fight the disaster with all their strength, ensure the supply of daily necessities for the people, and severely crack down on price gouging.
