The convicted 18-year-old was examined in a larger forensic psychiatric examination which showed that he was not affected by a serious mental disorder.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment, which the 18-year-old is now appealing, writes Sydsvenskan.
The sentence is unique in that the limit was previously 21 years to be sentenced to life imprisonment, the limit was lowered to 18 years at the turn of the year.

- We have appealed the verdict because we believe it is wrong, not in substance as my client admits to the crimes, but he thinks it is important that the verdict be appealed for several reasons, says Anders Elison.
