The Kremlin refuses to set a ceiling for the price of gas by the European Union
Today, Monday, the Kremlin considered that setting a ceiling for the price of gas is an "unacceptable" measure, after it was approved by the energy ministers of the European Union member states during their meeting in Brussels.
"It is a violation of the market process of fixing prices," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, as quoted by Russian news agencies, adding that "any reference to a price ceiling is unacceptable."
