A dialogue session was held, moderated by the writer Fathia Al-Nimr, with the participation of Dr. Jamal Muqabla and writer Nasser Iraq, who presented a contemporary vision on answering the question: “Why do we go back to reading Naguib Mahfouz,” whose writings varied between realistic and philosophical literature, and short writings.

Jamal Muqabalah said, “Our world is now full of possibilities for us to listen to Naguib Mahfouz through various applications, and this is what I recommend to everyone, because he is a great storyteller, and the storyteller we discover if we listen to (Read to me), or (Story Tele), or an audio book or others. Especially in the field of novels and fictional works, and telegraphic narratives are most appropriate to be listened to.
