The Secretary of Citizen Security, Omar García Harfuch, reported on Monday the arrest of three suspects, identified as Blanca Hilda, Sally Mechaella and Azuher.

The triple murder unleashed a wave of indignation on social networks over the precarious security situation in the Mexican capital, just days after a failed attack took place in the middle of the street in the south of the city against the prominent journalist Ciro Gómez Leyva, who he was saved from bullet impacts against his car thanks to the fact that it was armored.

"Our country is a nightmare

," journalist Ruth Barrios Fuentes tweeted.

The head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, sent her condolences to the family in a message on social networks.
