A 23-year-old man, suspected of having thrown several eggs in the direction of King Charles III, was charged with "threatening behavior" on Monday by British police.
The facts took place in the city of York on November 9th.
British police announced on Monday that they have charged a 23-year-old man with "threatening behavior" suspected of throwing several eggs at King Charles III during a trip to northern England, narrowly missing the sovereign.
Patrick Thelwell will appear on Tuesday in court in York, the city where the facts took place on November 9, to be formally notified of the charges, said the local police and the prosecution in separate press releases.
