In "Sturm der Liebe" pure love drama is the order of the day.

Because Vanessa loves Carolin – even though she is engaged to Max.

In the new episodes of the ARD soap, she is now facing a separation and a farewell.

Munich – Max (Stefan Hartmann, 32) and Vanessa (Jeannine Gaspár, 30) can sing a song about the fact that the cult ARD soap “Storm of Love” is always turbulent.

If the two were once such a close and intimate couple, everything has changed since Carolin (Katrin Anne Heß, 43) came on the scene at the latest: Because a secret love flared up between the two women – even though Vanessa was actually Max should marry.

Anyone who is a passionate soap fan knows that love triangles usually don't end well.

And after a complicated back and forth, which the loyal viewers followed spellbound for weeks, Vanessa is now at a crossroads in "Storm of Love".

The likeable curly head can no longer lead a double life and has to make a decision: will she walk down the aisle with Max as planned or will she follow her heart and choose Carolin?

In the latest episode "Father Daughter Day" (December 19) the time has finally come – Vanessa pours her heart out to Max and admits to him that she wants the separation: "You are still very important to me," she explains her fiancé in tears, "But it just doesn't feel right with us anymore".

She puts her ring on the table - but she doesn't say that she has long loved someone else.

The game of hide-and-seek won't last particularly long, because a preview of the episode "Hochzeitsnacht", which will be released on December 22, shows Max catching Vanessa and Carolin secretly kissing - and visibly shocked.

Happiness in love with Carolin in danger?

The cat is out of the bag and Max knows - at least the newly in love couple can now finally share their happiness with the world.

The only ray of light: Max has given the two of them his blessing and will definitely be at their side with friendly support during the difficult time.

While Carolin and Vanessa were still on cloud nine, they will soon have to spend a while apart from each other – without romantic trips for couples and devoted kisses.

How are they going to deal with that?

This will be shown in the new episodes of "Storm of Love", which is always shown on ARD from Monday to Friday.

In the cult home series "Der Bergdoktor", on the other hand, there are also new episodes for which an old villain could return.
