Despite the use of sophisticated weapons produced by the most important Russian or Western arms manufacturers, the conflict in Ukraine is also marked by a set of heterogeneous weapons of artisanal manufacture or misuse.
With these devices, the Ukrainian military overcome their weakness.
While the Ukrainian conflict marks the return of a high-intensity interstate war for the first time in Europe since 1945 with the use of sophisticated weapons produced by the most important Russian or Western arms manufacturers, the front is also welcoming a whole set of heterogeneous armaments of artisanal manufacture or diversions of uses.
This is particularly the case on the Ukrainian side where the military thus compensate for their weakness in the face of the mass of equipment deployed by the Russian armies.

For example, old Ladas are transformed into off-road buggies.

All-terrain electric bicycles are also used in some Ukrainian formations for the discreet movement of units or snipers near the front lines.

Anti-tank missiles are used to attack enemy positions, anti-aircraft missiles are used for bombing and anti-ship missiles are fired against cities.
Uses are redesigned to meet needs and provide tactical flexibility.
It is also a novelty of this conflict which reveals its extreme harshness because it reveals the need to face up at all costs to hold one's positions or respond on the ground to the demands of the staffs.
