Three or four major attacks are still possible, then it should be over: Ukraine sees Putin's missile arsenal dwindling massively.

Is the end of the war in sight?

Kyiv – The soldiers only shoot with ancient ammunition – and will they soon run out of rockets?

Ukraine sees Russia's fighting power dwindle massively.

The Ukrainian leadership assumes that the Russian stocks in the Ukraine war will only suffice for a few more attacks.

"If you count large-scale attacks, they have two or three at most, maybe they can scrape together missiles for four," National Security Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov told

Ukrayinska Pravda

on Monday (December 19) .

But then Russia would have no more reserves.

But what is the truth of such assumptions?

Is the end of the Ukraine war really within reach?

Ukraine war: end in sight?

Vladimir Putin seems to be running out of rockets

Recently there have been increasing reports that the army of Russian President Vladimir Putin could be on the brink of collapse in the Ukraine war.

After the attack targets had to be modified in the first days of the war, the fighting was concentrated in eastern Ukraine in the end.

But there, too, the troops suffered severe losses and major setbacks in a major offensive.

A few weeks ago, the German military expert Carlo Masala no longer completely ruled out an end to the war at the turn of the year.

"Things are looking bad for the Russians," he predicted in the

Süddeutsche Zeitung

.

When will the Ukraine war end?

Experts believe a defeat for Putin in the spring of 2023 is possible

But whether the war really ends in 2022 or in spring 2023 is still uncertain.

Because a lot of information from the front cannot be independently verified.

Most recently, the fighting was concentrated in the region around Bakhmut.

In addition, Russia began to fly targeted large-scale attacks on the Ukrainian infrastructure.

Iranian kamikaze drones have recently fired at the energy infrastructure in particular, in order to force Ukrainians to give in in the winter without electricity, gas or water.

But this strategy requires a high number of missiles.

And when it comes to production, Russia is finding it difficult to keep up.

Because the sanctions of Western politics, which prevent the import of all economic products, also affect the armaments industry.

Modern weapon systems can hardly be manufactured without semiconductors, electronic components or chips from abroad.

Recently there were reports that Russia would bridge the production by cannibalizing old devices.

However, it is hardly possible to produce large quantities in this way.

According to Ukrainian findings, Russia can only produce 70 rockets and cruise missiles per month.

A similar problem also exists with ammunition.

Ukraine war currently: Putin is already negotiating with Iran and North Korea about supplies of ammunition and missiles

But it is unclear whether Russia will still receive help from the last remaining allies.

While Iran was delivering the kamikaze drones to Putin, the Kremlin is said to have been negotiating the delivery of ammunition and missiles.

There have also been reports that Putin's helpers have made representations to North Korea.

Both countries have denied this.

Nevertheless, the drones from Iran are now flying their attacks on the Ukrainian cities every night.
