Marking the return of the people of the Ain al-Fijah area in the Governorate of Rif Dimashq to their homes and lands after they were displaced from it for years due to terrorism, a public celebration was held in the town square with popular and official participation.

The celebration included many performances and artistic performances by students in the Vanguards of the Baath Organization, and on behalf of the families of the martyrs, the child, Yara Maatouk, indicated in a speech that martyrdom is glory, pride, and a medal that children place on their chests because they answered the call of the homeland, and made their pure bodies a fence in front of the aggressors to provide security and safety.

The Governor of Rif Dimashq, Safwan Abu Saadi, affirmed that the blood and sacrifices of the martyrs laid the right path for the return of the people, thanking the Syrian leadership for its kind and generous directives and its follow-up to all the details and joints of work in the town, and to all the parties that worked for the return of the people to their homes, with honor and dignity, to restore life and activity to their town.

A member of the executive office, Mahmoud Haidar, responsible for the municipalities and agriculture sector and head of the interim committee in Ain al-Fijah, indicated that the Damascus countryside governorate was able, through its institutions and directorates, in coordination with the relevant ministries and the local community, to implement government plans and take all measures and facilities to restore services in all sectors and provide everything It takes a full and dignified return.

A number of the town's residents pointed out in statements to SANA reporter that agreeing to return to their town again after the suffering they experienced is tantamount to returning the soul to the body and reviving it again, stressing that they will work hard and spare no effort until the rehabilitation, restoration and construction of what was destroyed by terrorism and the restoration of the splendor of the tourist area. and agricultural.

Badriya Al-Rifai showed that her joy is great at returning and every grain of soil in her town is worth a lot, while Khaleda Hamza expressed her thanks to everyone who worked to make Ain Al-Fijah return as it was, and Osama Al-Omari said: “This is a very important step that the people waited for impatiently to start rebuilding, reconstructing and rehabilitating their homes and start new businesses.

For her part, Aisha Shibli pointed out that the return will be accompanied by work to restore life to her town, and Mustafa Muhammad Rahima expressed his joy at returning with tears and said: “Ain al-Fijah is his small homeland and it will return as it was with the energy of its children and youth.” Khalil Muhammad Shaaban said: “The joy we live in Today is indescribable, after years of suffering and absence, and we will work with our children and women to restore the beauty and vitality of Ain al-Fijah.” While Munther Ataya indicated that his joy is incomparable, and they will start building and reconstructing Ain al-Fijah and cultivating its lands directly.

The children of Ain al-Fijah confirmed that they will help their families to rebuild their town and that Ain al-Fijah will return with the vigor of its youth and people and they will live and grow in it.

In a statement to SANA, the head of the local council in the town, Muhammad Shibli, pointed out that reaching this stage was the result of continuous work in coordination with various service institutions in the Damascus countryside governorate to prepare the infrastructure of water, electricity and sanitation, explaining that the repair of the Ain al-Fijah water network has been started and will be completed. The sewage network was replaced with an impermeable network to protect the Al-Fijah spring from pollution, while the Damascus Countryside Electricity Company installed towers and poles and extended electrical wires in preparation for the installation of two electricity transmission centers, in addition to removing rubble from the streets and cleaning them, which facilitated the movement of people.

In order to restore the green ribbon, Shibli stated that the Directorate of Agriculture of Damascus Countryside will be addressed to provide the town with about four thousand saplings to be planted in the areas whose trees were cut down and burned by terrorist organizations. Law No. 1 concerning the protection of Ain al-Fijeh spring from pollution. The agricultural sector will also be given the necessary attention and farmers’ requirements will be secured so that they can revive this important sector.

Some members of the People's Assembly, Secretary of the Damascus Countryside Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Radwan Mustafa, members of the branch's leadership, heads of popular organizations, some officers of the Syrian Arab Army, a number of Islamic clerics, members of the executive office, and directors of service institutions in the province participated in the celebration.
