Al-Baath University honors 24 male and female researchers

In appreciation of their scientific output, Al-Baath University in Homs today honored 24 researchers, male and female, for publishing research in international journals and databases that contributed to raising the university's global ranking.

Published research topics dealt with the disciplines of nitrosophysiology (the study of the origin and nature of the neutral field), land cover maps, algorithms, robotics, nanoscience, medicine, and medicine.

Dr. Abd al-Basit al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University, considered in a statement to SANA reporter that the state of honor supports the culture of innovation and creativity, creating ideas, solving human and societal problems, developing the scientific research system and linking the university with society and the labor market, indicating that the publication of research in internationally refereed and highly influential journals has a fundamental role in Raising the classification of Syrian universities, according to the international ranking website Web Matrix.

In turn, Dr. Faiq Shaddoud, Secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party branch at the university, stressed during the honoring ceremony that the university has a national and pioneering role in the field of scientific research, and that the honor is a clear picture of its outputs in various disciplines, pointing to the importance of motivating young researchers, postgraduate students and faculty members Scientific research, especially at this stage, and selection of research related to society to participate in the reconstruction of Syria.

A number of the honored researchers explained that honoring them bears a great responsibility to achieve more in various specializations, and to work on preparing valuable and distinguished scientific research that links the academic scientific reality with its economic, developmental and social counterpart, and contributes to the development of the scientific research process and the investment reality, and is a basic lever for development and development.
