Russian oligarch Dmitri Zelenov falls down a flight of stairs and dies.
The death joins a long list of mysterious cases.
Nice/Frankfurt - Russian real estate magnate Dmitri Zelenov died in early December after falling down a flight of stairs while visiting friends on the Côte d'Azur.

The accident adds to the list of mysterious deaths of Russian oligarchs since the start of the Ukraine war.
Zelenow, 50, was having dinner with friends in Grasse, France, on December 9 when suddenly feeling unwell, he fell down a flight of stairs and suffered serious head injuries.
He succumbed to his injuries on December 10th in a hospital in Nice.
The public prosecutor of Grasse has confirmed this death.

The channel also writes that it is "known" that Zelenow previously underwent vascular surgery for unspecified heart problems.

Zelenov, 50, was the former owner of the Russian construction company Don-Stroy, which built the 61-story Triumph Palace Tower in Moscow, one of the tallest residential buildings in Europe.
Before the company fell under the control of Russia's state bank VTB after the 2008 financial crisis, Zelenov's net worth was estimated at $1.4 billion, putting him on

' list of Russia's billionaires.
