Bayern Munich denounced racial slurs directed at French player Kingsley Coman after France's defeat in the World Cup final on Sunday.

When asked about the abuse that was committed against Coman and other players on the platform, a spokesperson for Instagram's parent company, Meta, said the company was in contact with players and teams, but without identifying them.

Coman missed his shot in the penalty shootout in the final.
