The "Cafe Cafe" branch in the Grand Canyon in Haifa was closed today (Tuesday) by order of the Ministry of Health, after dozens of cockroaches, mold, rust, expired products and unfit food were found in the kitchen.
The Ministry of Health has issued a closure order to the place, under which no product in the restaurant can be taken out, marketed, or used in any way, nor can products be brought into the business, until another order is given.
The business was audited today, where it was found that the business, which operates without an appropriate license, "is in a very poor sanitary condition with serious deficiencies that pose an immediate danger to public health" - according to the Ministry of Health.
