How to cook a cauliflower?

Cook a cauliflower in two waters

How to cook cauliflower in the oven?

This cooking is slower, but also much more original.

To prepare the cauliflower, of course, all the leaves are removed and washed carefully.

Then cut off the stem so that the cauliflower can stand up.

There are then two cooking methods.

The first is to pre-cook the cauliflower for ten minutes in boiling water as explained above.

Then it is drizzled with a homemade marinade.

This can be made with honey, oil or with a hot sauce.

The cauliflower is finally baked for 25 to 30 minutes at 230°C.

The second method allows you to cook cauliflower only in the oven.

For this, it is placed on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

Its surface is covered with knobs of butter and seasoned according to taste.

The cauliflower bakes for one hour at 200°C with parchment paper on top, then 10 minutes without the paper.

Cooking cauliflower in a food processor

Food processors can also cook cauliflower.

Most manuals received with the appliance explain how to cook vegetables, such as cauliflower.

For the Thermomix, for example, simply fill with water, place the cabbage in the Varoma and program the robot for 25 to 30 minutes in steam cooking at speed 1.

In the Cookeo, 20 centiliters of water and the “rapid/pressure cooking” mode allow cauliflower to be cooked in 4 minutes.

Even 6 minutes, if it comes out of the freezer.

For the steamer, it will take 20 minutes.
