Talkalakh City Council in the western countryside of Homs lit a number of the city's streets with lighting devices that operate on solar energy.
The head of the city council, Trad Kadalem, told SANA reporter that, in cooperation with one of the expatriate residents of the city, about 220 lighting devices have been installed, operating on solar energy, in the main streets and some squares and necessary places in the city.
And he indicated that work is continuing to light all the streets of the city with solar energy, with a study being prepared to provide the civil registry building in Talkalakh with solar energy, given that it serves the city and its countryside.
