Maria Thalheim
– The Maria Thalheim fire brigade presents itself with a partially new tour.
27 activists confirmed Harald Eberl in the office of commander at the service meeting in the fire station and elected his new deputy Christoph Gebhard.
He prevailed in the elections against his predecessor Roman Auer, who had worked at the post for many years and received a lot of thanks from his comrades and mayor Hans Wiesmaier.
Commander Eberl had previously given a review of the past six years.
In particular, he dealt with special operations, such as the snow disaster in Berchtesgaden in 2019, when the Thalheim Weir actively helped to free the place from the huge white mass.
Other highlights were the successfully organized district fire brigade youth day and the regular visits by elementary school students to the fire station.
Eberl is particularly proud of the good daily alarm strength of his troop, an important pillar of the local force.
District fire chief Thomas Metz announced that a new alarm system via mobile phone would soon also be introduced in the Fraunberg community area.
He has also been responsible for Maria Thalheim for a year and a half.
He emphasized the good cooperation: "I always experience this local fire brigade as very pragmatic and reliable".
Wiesmaier was impressed by the large number of operations by the fire brigade.
"This not only shows that the investments here are well invested, it is also a symbol of the good team performance, of the cohesion in a village".
