What about the equipment of the Bundeswehr?
Apparently there are technical problems not only with the Puma infantry fighting vehicle.
Berlin - Only every third Panzerhaubitze 2000 in the inventory of the Bundeswehr is also operational.
This is reported by the

, citing a confidential paper from the Ministry of Defense under Christine Lambrecht (SDP).
There are a total of 105 such self-propelled howitzers, of which 73 are currently used in the army, the newspaper reported.
However, only about half of the weapon systems in this "available stock" of the troops - i.e. around 36 howitzers - are ready for use.
In addition, according to the report, 18 self-propelled howitzers 2000 were in the "factory repair at the industry" on December 2nd.
The remaining copies are used, for example, for training and testing purposes.
When asked by the dpa news agency, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense confirmed the total number of 105 self-propelled howitzers after 14 of the weapon systems had been handed over to Ukraine.
For reasons of confidentiality, no information was given on operational readiness.

Operational readiness of the Bundeswehr main weapon systems: No current figures are public
The Bundeswehr has recently no longer provided any public figures on the operational readiness of the main weapon systems.
There can be various reasons for problems in this area.
For example, spare parts were missing in the past because they were not kept in stock.
As a consequence of the failure, Lambrecht had only put the planned further procurement of the Puma infantry fighting vehicle on hold the day before (December 19).
She gave the Bundeswehr and the affected armaments companies a deadline of next week to clarify the causes of the breakdowns.
