Another incident in a natural gas pipeline: According to an agency report, there is a major fire in Russia.
Chuvashia - There has apparently been an explosion at a gas pipeline in the city of Kazan in central Russia that carries gas from Russia to Europe via Ukraine.
This is reported by the Russian state news agency Ria Novosti.
Three people are said to have died.
The gas flow through the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhhorod pipeline was interrupted at 1:50 p.m.
The cause is still unclear.
The line is one of the central natural gas pipelines in Russia and is operated by Ukraine.
"It was scarier than in the video.
In the village of Yambakhtino it was impossible to go to the windows - everything was hot," Ria Novosti quoted a witness to the explosion as saying.
