The young woman, Aya Amin Al-Halabi, armed herself from childhood with daily reading as a life behavior that develops thought and expands mental perceptions, which was positively reflected during her participation in the reading challenge competition for two consecutive times. Basketball casual.

Aya, who is studying at the Faculty of Education at Tishreen University, Department of Curriculum, specializing in managing and planning for the SANA Youth Bulletin, shows that she has always wanted to be distinguished, so she resorted to books as a rope to which she clung, realizing that from behind her pages she would have a new thought and life, selecting all kinds of scientific, cultural, historical, philosophical and imaginary books, in addition to Human development literature.

She said: I have in my home a large library rich in many important publications published by Dar Al-Fikr, and it supported me with it in every step of the reading journey that I planned for myself, as the house shipped all the books I needed through special transport platforms, which is the support that brought me here.

She indicated that last year she undertook the challenge by reading books with a height of 170 cm, and she ranked third in the world. For each book with all accuracy and care, and success was my ally, so I was nominated in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Dar Al-Fikr Foundation for the Guinness Book of Records as the first Arab young woman to read and innovate despite her young age.

Aya Al-Youm is working on training the participants in the Arab Reading Challenge in Lattakia Governorate, and is also giving lessons for a special curriculum within the Private Future Horizons Foundation, laden with many aspirations for the next stage, as she says.

Aya drew attention to her keenness to coordinate her time between university, job, family, study and reading, believing that a person has nothing but what he strives for, which strengthens her will to reach her goal and to excel intellectually and culturally under the slogan “Every dream comes true twice, once in my mind and once in my reality.”
