The protests of the so-called "last generation" are polarizing.
An activist has now ended up in a cell - and published a statement.
Munich – They caused a stir in the past few weeks: the activists of the so-called “last generation”.
In Munich in particular, a number of protest actions have recently taken place, mostly with the “climate stickers” sticking to the street and thus blocking traffic.
Your concern: Consistent climate protection.
Your accusation: The government does not act according to scientific advice and ignores the devastating consequences of global warming.
However, the Bavarian police recently cracked down, and the group was completely forbidden from sticking around.
Numerous activists were recently taken into preventive custody after protests, and a judge's verdict that sent two activists behind bars until the new year caused a stir.

Activist "Lina" of the "Last Generation" has also ended up in preventive custody.
A video taken from the activist's cell has now been shared on the group's Twitter page.
"Lina" describes her situation: "I'm sitting here in a cell in the court in Munich," she begins her words.
It will be checked immediately how long she has to stay in prison for what she says herself "peaceful road blockade".
She then describes her emotional world: "I'm afraid, that's not what I want to do," and further: "The idea of being locked up over Christmas and New Year's is not something that comes easy.
But it's something I do because we have to use the time now," said the activist.
Climate activist shares video from Munich cell - drastic comments follow
She would like nothing more for Christmas than an "honest dialogue" that can ensure that you "take yourself seriously" in order "to be able to react appropriately to the climate catastrophe".
The comments below the video are mostly critical.
A user writes: "I have to work during Christmas!".
Another says smugly: "I would have stuck them on the street for Christmas." Another, however, encourages the activist and says: "I think you'll
come out again on December 24th, 2022.
There is no serious crime.
So see through the days.”
The controversy surrounding the so-called "last generation" has picked up speed in the past.
Opinions differ greatly in society and politics, and the debate has now also arrived in the Bavarian state parliament.
While many of the critics support the cause of climate protection, they criticize the nature of the protest.
