In a few days the time has come: "Der Bergdoktor" is back on TV with eight brand new episodes.
Mark Keller is already revealing the first details of season 16.
So much can be revealed: for Dr.
Alexander Kahnweiler is getting uncomfortable.
Ellmau, Tyrol – “Der Bergdoktor” has been delighting its fans since 2008.
But who believes that after 15 seasons with Dr.
Martin Gruber is now calmer, he is wrong.
Things continue to be turbulent on the Wilder Kaiser.
Mark Keller (57) has now chatted from the ZDF sewing box and revealed how his role Dr.
Alexander Kahnweiler continues.

The turbulent emotional world of Dr.
Martin Gruber has been delighting TV viewers for 15 seasons now - and number 16 is already in the starting blocks.
Already at the end of the year, fans can look forward to brand new - and of course dramatic - episodes of "Der Bergdoktor".

Mark Keller himself seems to be very enthusiastic about the eight new episodes.
"The women, the poor women's world, there are so many unforeseen things happening," says Mark Keller.
But not only the female sex has to be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions, also Dr.
Alexander Kahnweiler has to put up with a lot in the new Bergdoktor season.
"It's getting to me, too," reveals the actor.

"The Mountain Doctor" is a remake
“Der Bergdoktor” was already on the air in the 1990s.
From 1992 to 1997, the doctor series was still on Sat.1.
At that time, Gerhart Lippert (85) took on the role of the mountain doctor as Dr.
Burgner.
But after only four seasons, Burgner died in serial death and Dr.
Hallstein (Harald Krassnitzer, 62) became the new mountain doctor.
Despite good ratings, Sat.1 canceled the series after only five years.
Finally, ZDF secured the rights to the series – with success.
Because even after 16 seasons, there is still no series finale planned.

Hans Sigl also recently announced a "finale that I would not have expected".
So it's going to be exciting.
The good news: fans will find out earlier this year how season 16 will continue.
Previously, "Der Bergdoktor" started in January, now the new episodes will be available from December 29th, as usual at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF.

Speaking of the Bergdoktor: Barbara Schöneberger and Mark Keller joked with Hans Sigl on their radio show “Barbara wakes Hamburg”.
The two rang the mountain doctor at 6 a.m. to get him out of bed.
