11-year-old hit by car and seriously injured

An eleven-year-old was hit by a car in Berlin-Kaulsdorf and was seriously injured.

As the police announced on Wednesday, the car of a 42-year-old man hit the girl on Tuesday afternoon at the corner of Chemnitzer Strasse and Striegauer Strasse.

The 11-year-old was taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment.

The driver was not injured.

According to the police, it was initially unclear how exactly the accident happened.

According to initial findings, the girl was hit by the car while crossing the street.
