17-year-old flees after accident: helicopter finds him

With a helicopter, the police found a fugitive driver in the Altmark district of Salzwedel.
Two vehicles collided head-on on the B71 between Winterfeld and Mahlsdorf on Tuesday afternoon, the police said on Wednesday.
A 17-year-old overlooked an oncoming car when turning at an intersection.
The 25-year-old driver of the other car, the 17-year-old and his 61-year-old passenger were injured in the collision.
Winterfeld/Mahlsdorf – The 17-year-old fled from the scene of the accident.
With the help of the helicopter, the officers finally found the youth.
Several criminal cases are now pending against him.
