After deadly shots in Albstadt: woman's body discovered – is it a missing 20-year-old?

After a deadly shootout in Albstadt, the police arrest a man.

He leads the officers to a woman's corpse - in his garden.

Albstadt – In Albstadt (Baden-Württemberg), investigators dug up a woman's body in the garden of a 52-year-old.

The woman was the victim of a crime, the police and prosecutors said.

According to initial findings, it could be a 20-year-old who had been missing since Sunday.

There had previously been an incident in the town 85 kilometers south of Stuttgart in which fatal shots were fired at a 23-year-old.

The 52-year-old Italian is considered a suspect in both cases, the police said.

Both dead are also Italian citizens.

According to the police, the alleged perpetrator is related to the dead woman.

He gave investigators a lead on Wednesday to the location of the body after he was arrested for the other crime.

A firearm was found in the 52-year-old man.

According to the police, they assume that the 23-year-old victim and the 52-year-old suspect knew each other before the crime.

The police did not initially provide any further information about their relationship.

The subject of the investigation was also the motive, about which nothing was initially known.

Police were also unable to say where the suspect got the gun from.
