The Tölzer Eisstadion is now called the Hacker-Pschorr-Arena again.

The signs are already in place.

Everything should be ready for the derby against Rosenheim on Friday.

Bad Tölz

– One or the other ice hockey fan will probably experience a déja-vù: From now on, the Tölz ice stadium on the Flinthöhe will once again be called the “Hacker-Pschorr-Arena”.

The corresponding signs are already attached.

"I am delighted that we have succeeded in showing our long-standing, loyal partner Hacker-Pschorr again at the ice rink," says Ralph Bader, Managing Director of Tölzer Eissport GmbH.

The stadium already bore this name until 2017, before the new main sponsor “wee” renamed it “weeArena”.

That too is now history.

The lions then auctioned off the naming rights for the 2021/22 season.

The Tölz-based company RSS was awarded the contract.

Andreas Steinfatt is happy about the partnership

Now we are practically returning to the origins.

“The Tölzer Löwen and the Hacker-Pschorr brewery have been connected for many years.

We are happy to continue this partnership,” says Andreas Steinfatt, Managing Director of Hacker-Pschorr Bräu Munich, in a press release.

Of course, one is pleased that the venue now bears the old name again.

“We hope that this name will still be familiar, especially among the fans, or will soon be common again.

As a visible sign, so to speak, we are having graffiti with the lettering attached," says Steinfatt.

It should be ready in time for the derby against Rosenheim on Friday, December 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Derby against Rosenheim on Friday

According to Bader, more than 2,700 tickets have already been sold for the game.

Overall, the lions expect at least 3500 spectators.

Tickets can be secured online in the Löwen ticket shop until Friday morning.

Tickets are also available in the office or at the box office on match days from 5 p.m.
