Drunk and driving without a driver's license, a driver tried to run over two police officers in Bordeaux (Gironde) on Tuesday, November 20.
Spotted in town because of his brisk pace, the individual tried to escape via the ring road.
To sow the anti-crime brigade (BAC), the 37-year-old man first makes a U-turn on the expressway towards Eysines (Gironde).
He then tries to get out of it in the wrong direction and hits the central reservation.
But the driver does not stop there.
Seeing the BAC approaching for a check, he backed up violently in the direction of the two police officers, who, having gotten out of their vehicle, were walking towards his.
The police opened fire in the direction of his tires to arrest him.
Arrested a little further, this driver is currently in custody at the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of Gironde.
