Traffic will begin to pick up on the eve of the Christmas weekend, the Smart Bison indicator predicts in this forecast.
From tomorrow Thursday, it is advisable to leave Paris or arrive there before noon.
"Traffic will be particularly heavy around major commercial areas, mainly in the afternoon," wrote the forecasting organization on its bulletin.
Friday is worse!
Bison smart recommends leaving Paris before 10 a.m. to avoid the Saint-Arnoult toll on the A10 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
A peak of traffic jams is expected between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., with departures combining with office exits.

For the end of the festive weekend, it is advisable to leave Île-de-France on Monday before 10 a.m. and to return there before 2 p.m.
"In Île-de-France, the first difficulties should appear in the middle of the morning and continue until the beginning of the evening", predicts Bison smart.
The A10, A6 and A13 motorways should concentrate most of the difficulties.
In the direction of departures, they should take place at midday, and at the beginning of the afternoon in the direction of returns.
