Incomparable offer for homeowners: Moosburger Solarfreunde give tips for renovation via video

The Moosburger Solarfreunde hit a nerve with the online seminar “My house is getting young again”.
The videos on energy-efficient building refurbishment are still available to interested parties.

– The energy turnaround is still sluggish, which is often due to a lack of information at the base, as the solar friends in Moosburg have discovered.
The association now wants to change that with its comprehensive digital information offering, which is based on the "Construction seminar on energetic building renovation" - and could thus be an important source of ideas and inspiration for all homeowners.
Available anytime, easily and for free
The solar friends suspected that there would be a great need in this sector in the event of a Ukraine attack and therefore started an online construction seminar in 2022 entitled "My house is getting young again", which deals with all topics relating to energy-efficient building renovation in a logical order and more appropriately picks up length.
In order to make the information available to anyone interested at any time, easily and free of charge, the individual online events were prepared as videos and published on www.solarfreunde-moosburg.de.
In addition, the user receives additional information, services and contacts bundled in one place.
According to Chairman Hans Stanglmair, the idea of making this advice content digitally accessible and thus bringing the knowledge to homeowners came to the solar friends during the pandemic.
Because there were many interested parties at the one-day seminars beforehand, but only a limited group of users and some of them whose special concerns were not sufficiently dealt with.
Therefore, in the online lecture series, all topics were coordinated and presented by different speakers in a logically appropriate order and with a length of between 15 and 50 minutes.
Numerous videos with experienced speakers
This resulted in eleven videos with basic topics such as "Why renovation?", energy advice, building physics, quality assurance, mould, business and law.
There are also 15 videos on specialist topics such as building shells, building materials, ventilation technology, various heating technologies and energy generation.
A logical structure of the content is important, according to Raimund Becher from the board of Solarfreunde, in order to get clarity: "Does it stop with the heating, or does it start with the heating?"
The initiators of the seminar are particularly proud of their top-class partners.
From the Bavarian Chamber of Architects (Gero Suhner, Hermine Hitzler, Petra Wurmer-Weiß) via CARMEN e.
V. (Larissa Auzinger, Sabine Hiendlmeier), Citrin Solar (Matthias Sonnleitner, Daniel Beckenbauer), energy consultant (David Gärtner) up to the Sparkasse Moosburg (Florian Steiner) the specialist speakers were acquired.
The Solarfreunde Moosburg contributed seven lectures themselves, who also took over the post-processing of the videos and the organization on the website.
Strong interest and willingness to act
A total of 600 different participants have already attended the nine online events live, says board member Rainer Teschner.
The best-attended individual event was on photovoltaics with 270 live guests.
What the initiators learned from the series of seminars and the 140 orientation talks that resulted from them was that many homeowners are interested and also want to act.
Unfortunately, communication on the topic is not optimal, and knowledge must reach the right people in a way that they can understand, accept and implement.
The new video section with the "Construction seminar on energetic building renovation" by Solarfreunde Moosburg tries to close this gap and promote solutions.
