Katwarn triggers: Red storm warning in the morning for Bavaria - "Danger to life and limb"

The German Weather Service has issued a severe weather warning for large parts of eastern Bavaria.
There is a great danger of black ice on roads in particular.
Update, 9.04 a.m .:
The storm warning for eastern Bavaria was extended until 10 a.m.
Furthermore, extreme caution is required on the local roads.
Update, 7.37 a.m .:
The DWD has extended its severe weather warning to other parts of Bavaria.
There is now a level 3 severe weather warning in the Upper Bavarian districts of Altötting, Mühldorf and Traunstein.
A detailed list of all affected districts can be found at the end of the text.
First report, 6.33 a.m .: Munich
– There is a level three storm warning (of four possible levels) for several districts in eastern Bavaria from Regensburg to Passau.
The German Weather Service (DWD) warns there vehemently of dangerous black ice, which is currently forming due to suddenly freezing rain.
The BRK recommends these instructions for emergencies.
Especially on bridges, like the Wittelsbacher Bridge in Munich, it can get slippery.

Severe weather warning for Bavaria: Danger to life and limb
The warning has been in effect since 5:30 a.m. and lasts until 9 a.m.
The DWD warns of "danger to life and limb".
Therefore, it is recommended to avoid being outdoors altogether.
