Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that Western countries are obstructing the export of Russian agricultural products to countries in need, noting that his country is working with the United Nations to find a solution to that.
Lavrov said during a video speech at the meeting of foreign ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization: “To solve the food crisis resulting from unilateral Western sanctions, the problem of artificial inflation, and the failure of transport and logistics, we are working with the United Nations to restore the volume of agricultural exports to countries in need, but there are some Western countries that are trying.” Stubborn obstruction of our work,” pointing out that Moscow is working to amend the grain export agreement based on the logic of taking into account the interests of poor countries.
With regard to the terrorist explosions that affected the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines last September, Lavrov pointed out that the European Union does not intend to objectively investigate this terrorist attack, so Russia is working, in light of these circumstances, to export fuel through the Black Sea pipelines to all buyers wishing to do so. .
Lavrov stressed the need to activate cooperation between the countries of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization on the one hand, and between them and other international organizations and bodies to form the Eurasian partnership on the other hand.
