The Israeli eSports organization NOM eSports proudly announces that its Hualorant team has been accepted into the Challengers East: Surge League, i.e. the game's official eSports league sponsored by Riot Games, the developer.
This means that starting from the 2023 season we will have the privilege of seeing Israeli representation on one of the official league arenas in Europe.
Of the 23 countries that competed, Israel was the one that won the right to participate in the league, along with nine other eSports clubs, among the leaders in Eastern Europe.
The first season of the CES games will begin in January and continue until this March.
The second season is expected to take place from April to June.
During each season, the ten selected teams will compete against each other for cash prizes worth tens of thousands of dollars.
The Israeli NOM organization, which also owns FIFA and Fortnite players, founded the Hualornet team with the aim of participating in tournaments abroad and representing the country with a blue-and-white team.
The CES tournament also took place last year but was considered an unofficial tournament, until this year, and was officially recognized by Riot Games.
The NOM organization also participated in the last two seasons of the league.
Last February, they even met Team Finest, another local e-sports organization (which has since closed) for an Israeli derby in one of the rounds, and came away with the upper hand with a score of 1-2.
At the end of the league for 2022, they finished the first season in fourth place, and in the second season they finished in third place.
