Russian President Vladimir Putin considered that the balance of nuclear deterrence is the basis of stability in the world, noting that the unprecedented Zircon missiles will enter service starting next month, and the Sarmat missiles will enter service in the near future.
During an expanded meeting today with senior military leaders to define the tasks of the Russian army in the coming year, Putin said, according to Russia Today: The military operations raised a number of issues that we must deal with, such as issues of communications, automation and battery warfare tactics.
He added, "Although all NATO capabilities stand against us, the valor of our officers will complete the objectives of the special operation in full," stressing the need to develop work with specialized ministries and coordinate with specialists in the field of engineering departments and research centers.
In turn, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stressed during the meeting that the Russian armed forces are facing the combined forces of the West in Ukraine, and that the biggest beneficiary of this situation is the United States of America, which benefits from weakening its partners in Europe, indicating that his country is conducting its own military operation in order to defend citizens from genocide.
Shoigu pointed out that part of the weapons provided by the United States of America to Ukraine reach markets around the world, and many American military means go to help Ukraine, including 70 military satellites, in addition to other multi-purpose satellites.
According to Shoigu, the Ukrainian terrorist acts are portrayed as “heroic” in the Western media and neo-Nazism is propagated at a time when servicemen within the Ukrainian army who do not obey orders are eliminated.
The meeting comes as the Russian forces continue, since February 24, their military operation in Ukraine to protect the population of the Donbass region, and to complete the liberation of the new Russian lands in the republics of Donetsk and Lugansk and the provinces of Zaporozhye and Kherson from the Kyiv forces and their allies of Western and Polish mercenaries.
