The police announced today (Wednesday) that they have completed their investigation into the murder case of Yuri Volkov, who was stabbed to death last month at a crossing in Holon.

Tomorrow, the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office is expected to file an indictment against him and a request for his arrest until the end of the proceedings.
The findings of the investigation revealed that Mizrahi left his home on the evening of the murder to join his partner who had earlier gone to the vet with their puppy to get it vaccinated. The suspect arrived at the Yoseftal-Eilat intersection in Holon, He crossed it with his scooter and stood at a red light, while Volkov and his partner crossed the road. While standing at the intersection and waiting for the traffic lights to change, Mizrahi noticed that his partner was taking a picture of him. After that, the two, Volkov and his partner, split up and went in different directions at the intersection.

Mizrahi drove from the intersection on the opposite lane towards his partner and started arguing with her while driving after her with the scooter.
Volkov, who noticed what was happening, approached the two, turned to the suspect, asked "what happened" and asked him to leave the scene.
The suspect in response pulled out a sharp tool, stabbed Volkov once in the heart and fled the scene.
Volkov collapsed, was taken with CPR to Wolfson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
From the reconstruction of the suspect's movements by the police, it emerged that after the stabbing, Mizrahi traveled east through Ayalon Darom to the area, to collect a debt from a person who owed him money, from there he arrived in the Jaffa area to meet his friend and then returned home, where, according to the estimate, he realized from the news sites that the person Decker died of his wounds.
