The service and oversight sectors in As-Suwayda governorate have taken a set of measures and preparations to ensure the continuity of their work and meet the needs of citizens during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The director of the Syrian Foundation for Bakeries branch in As-Suwayda, Alaa Muhanna, explained that the automated bakeries operating under the management and supervision system will continue to work during the holidays without interruption, except for the day off Friday, in a way that meets the needs of citizens, pointing to the availability of the raw materials necessary for the work of flour and fuel in a good way.

The head of the Consumer Protection Department in the Directorate, Jihad Tarabay, stated that shift patrols were allocated to work during the holidays to monitor the various activities, indicating that the private bakeries continue their work according to the specified allocations of flour, provided that they are suspended only on their official holiday specified on Friday, while the gas stations operate based on On requests received from the fuel to the province.

And in the branch of the Syrian Trade Corporation in As-Suwayda, the branch manager, Rabih Ghanem, stated that the sales halls and outlets continue to work during the holiday to provide the citizens' needs of various materials.

In turn, the person in charge of managing the affairs of the General Corporation for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda, Eng. Amin Ghazaleh, indicated that a shift program has been set up at the level of administration and the economic units of the corporation to follow up the progress of work and secure drinking water for citizens according to the approved distribution roles and to address any emergency malfunction that may occur.

According to Thaer Al-Saleh, the director of the city of As-Suwayda, a shift schedule has been set for cleaners and sanitation workshops, to ensure follow-up on the provision of services, and the council's fire brigade continues to work around the clock.
