Erding – slides, splash around and relaxation under palm trees on a size of almost 26 football pitches: With an area of 430,000 square meters, the Therme Erding prides itself on being the “largest thermal bath in the world” – and has long been known beyond the borders of Upper Bavaria.

Prices of the Therme Erding: How much does the entry cost?
Upon entry, the thermal bath is divided into three sections: thermal baths and adventure pools, vitality oasis and vitality thermal baths and saunas.
Wearing swimwear is mandatory.
Only the textile-free wellness area Vitaltherme and saunas can be entered without bathing suits (from 16 years).
The thermal baths and adventure pools division includes the thermal baths, the wave pool and the Galaxy slide world.
There are the following tariffs:

4 hours: 30 euros
6 hours: 38 euros
1 day: 46 euros

In general: On Saturdays, Sundays, Bavarian public holidays and during the holidays, an additional flat rate of five euros is added to all tariffs.
An extension for every 30 minutes or part thereof costs two euros.
If you forgot a towel or bathrobe, you can borrow them at the cash desks of the Therme Erding.
A towel costs four euros (plus a deposit of 15 euros), a bathrobe costs six euros (plus a deposit of 30 euros).
There is no discount for people with disabilities at Therme Erding.
However, if the disabled person is older than four years and a “B” for accompanying person or an “H” for helpless is entered in the disability card, the accompanying person has free admission.
However, the accompanying person must be of legal age.
Admission to the Therme Erding: Are there other discounts or a family ticket?
As already mentioned, children up to and including the age of three have free entry to the thermal baths and the adventure pool.
In addition, there is the so-called "early swimmer tariff": You pay 20 euros instead of 22 euros for entry from Monday to Friday before 12 p.m.
In addition, regular guests and families have the opportunity to receive a discount of up to twelve percent with the ThermenCard.
You have the choice between the ThermenCard Silber (450 euros purchase price, 500 euros value) and the ThermenCard Gold (880 euros purchase price, 1000 euros value).
They can be used indefinitely and are transferrable.
This means that you can use it with several people at the same time.
You can also save money with the stamp cards from Therme Erding.
As a family, you get free entry for up to three children with the FamilyCard on your third visit.
Even with a full VitalCard or SaunaCard you can look forward to free entry to the adventure pool or the Vitaltherme and saunas.
Offers for children: Become a member of the Kids Club
Children between 0 and 15 years can enter the Kids Club for free.
As a member, you will receive a postcard on your birthday, which you can use to go to the Therme Erding once for free for up to four weeks after your birthday.
Celebrate your birthday at the Therme Erding
Children up to the age of 15 receive free admission on their birthday, provided they are a member of the Kids Club and can show a birthday postcard.
Adult birthday children receive a cocktail voucher upon presentation of ID at check-in at the cash register.
Visiting the Therme Erding near Munich: All information about the reservation
It is recommended to make a reservation before visiting the thermal baths.
This is possible on
therme-erding.de
and offers the advantage of guaranteed entry in the event of an admission stop, especially at busy times such as weekends, public holidays and vacations.
The website states: "Without a reservation, there may be longer waiting times, especially on days with a higher number of visitors."
Many guests are expected, especially during the Christmas holidays.
Therefore, the homepage also states that a visit during this period is only possible with prior registration.
When booking online, a reservation fee of 3.90 euros will be charged and paid directly.
The length of stay for visiting the adventure pool or sauna is then selected and paid for at reception.
We advise you to bring the booking confirmation and an official ID document with you.
Anyone planning a spontaneous visit can
enter the thermal baths near the Bavarian capital of Munich
from 6 p.m. without a reservation .
By the way: If you have booked a room in the Hotel Victory or the Victory guest house or a private lounger, you do not need any additional registration to enter.

The town of Erding is about 36 kilometers north-east of Munich and can be reached via the
A9, A92 and A94
motorways.
The journey to the thermal baths from the state capital takes around 30 to 45 minutes.
Over 1,500 parking spaces are available on site.
Parking in the open space or in the multi-storey car park is free.
There are also free parking spaces for mobile homes.
Those who prefer to travel by public transport can use the
S-Bahn S2 (Altenerding station)
.
At the S-Bahn station you can either change to bus lines 550 (Monday to Friday), 580 (Monday to Friday) or 570 (Saturday, Sunday & public holiday) or walk about 800 meters to the Erding thermal baths.

Four of the 27 slides are only open in summer (from 18 degrees Celsius) because they are outdoors under the sky: Summer Family Slide, Rainbow Racer, Summer Bowl and The Big Wave.
The water temperature in the other slides and paddling pools is around 30 degrees.
Slide paradise: In the Therme Erding you are spoiled for choice - between a total of 27 water slides, such as the Rainbow Racer in the outdoor area.

In addition to the sometimes action-packed water slides, visitors can look forward to seven other pools and six health baths, including a wave lagoon with five different wave strengths and a water temperature of 34 degrees, an 80-metre-long lazy river and an outdoor wave pool with a covered pool bar.

Saunas in the Therme Erding: Vitaloase and Vitaltherme
Der Saunabereich der Therme Erding ist unterteilt in einen textilen Spa-Bereich ab 16 Jahren, der die Bezeichnung „Vitaloase“ trägt, und einen textilfreien Bereich ab 16 Jahren, der „Vitaltherme“ genannt wird. Die Vitaloase ist vor allem für Sauna-Neulinge geeignet, die bei Temperaturen zwischen 38 und 70 Grad schwitzen wollen. Darüber hinaus kann in Vital-Quellen entspannt werden.
In der Vitaltherme, die sich auf einer Gesamtfläche von 13.363 Quadratmetern befindet, werden drei verschiedene Kategorien angeboten: Aufguss-Saunen, Aktions-Saunen und Dampfbäder. Im Folgenden finden Sie das Angebot in der Übersicht.

Restaurants in der Therme Erding
Wen beim Schwimmen, Rutschen oder Entspannen der Hunger packt, findet im XXL-Thermalbad ein großes kulinarisches Angebot. Besucher der Therme und des Erlebnisbades haben die Wahl zwischen Ruff‘s Burger, Le Crêpetit, Frozen Yoghurt, Galaxy Snack Bar, Nelsons Beach Restaurant, OCEAN Restaurant, Waikiki Bar, Diamond Bay Poolbar, Flower Poolbar, Flamingo Poolbar und Leuchtturm Poolbar.
Gemütliche Stunden in der Vitaloase können an der Vitaloase-Poolbar oder im Culinarium versüßt werden, während Gäste der Vitaltherme und Saunen im Veneziano (italienische Küche) oder Kaimug (thailändisches Restaurant) speisen, sowie an der Champagnerpoolbar oder Außenpoolbar einen Drink genießen können.

Overnight stay at the Hotel Victory: Cabins directly at the wave pool
If you want to save yourself the trip home, you can stay overnight at the Hotel Victory right by the wave pool.
It opened on October 21, 2014 and has been fully operational since February 2015 and offers a total of 128 rooms ranging in size from 20 to 50 square meters.
The ship-design hotel gives you the feeling of being on board a tall ship, a modern ocean-going yacht or in Venice.

Die Preise für ein Doppelzimmer liegen – je nach Kategorie – zwischen 252 und 342 Euro pro Nacht. Hotelgäste haben einen direkten Thermenzugang über die Lobby ins Wellenbad, das sie sogar bereits ab 8.30 Uhr nutzen dürfen. Extras wie Halbpension für Erwachsene oder exklusive Menüs in den Restaurants sind hinzubuchbar.
Als Alternative zum Hotel Victory gibt es im Victory-Gästehaus direkt gegenüber der Thermenwelt weitere Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit 88 Appartements und sechs Studios. Gäste mit Wohnmobilen können im angrenzenden Wohnmobil-Park (55 Stellplätze) nächtigen. Die Gebühr für den Stellplatz liegt bei 15 Euro für einen Tag, 30 Euro für zwei Tage, 44 Euro für drei Tage, 58 Euro für vier Tage und 72 Euro für fünf Tage.
Silvester in der Therme Erding
Wer für Silvester noch keinerlei Pläne hat, kann den Jahreswechsel auch im Hotel Victory verbringen. Im Angebot sind zwei Übernachtungen (30. Dezember bis 1. Januar oder 31. Dezember bis 2. Januar) sowie der Eintritt in Therme und Erlebnisbad inbegriffen. Zusätzlich kommt man in den Genuss eines Drei-Gang-Menüs (inkl. Aperitif) mit musikalischer Untermalung und Showeinlagen.
Therme Erding: Besucherzahlen und weitere Fakten
Jährlich besuchen circa 1,8 Millionen Menschen die Therme Erding, die am 3. Oktober 1999 eröffnet wurde und in der eine durchschnittliche Lufttemperatur von 28 Grad Celsius herrscht. Bis heute wurden etwa 225 Millionen Euro investiert, um den Gästen ein einzigartiges Bade-Erlebnis zu bieten.
Nach der Eröffnung 1999 folgte im März 2007 die Erweiterung der Vitaltherme und Saunen für über 37 Millionen Euro. Nur einen Monat später wurde die Galaxy Rutschenwelt eröffnet, die rund 30 Mio. Euro gekostet hat.
