In order to ensure road safety, officers of the Tsuen Wan Police District took enforcement actions in the district for two consecutive days (19th to 20th) to crack down on illegal parking that caused traffic congestion and other illegal acts that affected road safety.
During the operation, officers issued a total of 1,066 fixed penalty notices, 13 court summonses and towed 6 vehicles that caused serious obstruction.

The Police reiterated that illegal parking is not only affecting other road users, it is more likely to cause traffic accidents and endanger the safety of pedestrians and road users.
The police also said that in addition to ticketing the relevant vehicles and prosecuting the driver many times, the vehicles may also be towed away. They appealed to drivers not to park vehicles illegally for the sake of convenience.
