Weapons, coke and crystal meth: police dig drug hub in Ebersberg

The police arrested a man in Ebersberg who is said to have operated a brisk trade in hard drugs from the district town.

- After intensive investigations, the narcotics investigators of the Kripo Erding succeeded in striking the narcotics scene in the district of Ebersberg.
This is reported by the responsible police headquarters north in Ingolstadt.
With the support of the mobile task force of the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office, around 800 grams of crystal meth (methamphetamine) were secured and a 32-year-old Bulgarian drug dealer arrested.

According to the press report, the 32-year-old was already targeted by the Erdinger criminal police at the beginning of September.
Accordingly, there were concrete indications that the Bulgarian was involved in drug dealing on a larger scale at his place of residence in the district town of Ebersberg.
This suspicion was confirmed after weeks of investigation.
Investigators summarize: "It turned out that the suspect mainly supplied his customer base with the extremely dangerous drug crystal meth and other hard drugs."
After a procurement trip to Berlin, the 32-year-old was arrested on the return trip on Friday, December 2nd.
The police only reported on Wednesday, December 21 - with reference to investigative tactical reasons that would have delayed the information of the public.
Search in Ebersberg: Police confiscate 730 grams of crystal meth
According to the Bureau, 730 grams of cystal meth and a jackknife, which the man had within reach, were seized during the arrest.
In his Ebersberg apartment, the investigators confiscated more crystal meth, small amounts of cocaine and marijuana, and a ready-to-access spring-loaded pistol with steel balls.
A telescopic baton and a pepper spray were found in one of the suspect's vehicles.
According to the investigators, the Bulgarian was brought before the magistrate on suspicion of dealing in narcotics in large quantities while carrying a weapon.
After a pre-trial arrest warrant was issued, the 32-year-old was transferred to a prison.
