These days - the days of Hanukkah, are very special days that have the power to light up our lives and lift us up.

The Rebbe Rabbi Yosiah Pinto expanded in his lesson and explained the specialness of these days.

At the

beginning of his words, Rabbi Pinto said:

When there is great faith and trust in G-d, a person receives salvation without the need for any effort .

Greatest meanings in the people of Israel, but on Purim we read the Megillat Esther and on Hanukkah we don't have any Megillah that we read.

So why is it that on Purim there is the Megillat of Esther and on Hanukkah we don't have any Megillah that we read?

Rabbi Pinto Haskeh: So we have to interpret and say a big foundation, when Yosef the Tzadik was in the prison he made an effort at first to ask the Minister of Finance to help him get out of prison.

The Holy Torah narrates and says that for this Yosef was punished for another two years in the prison house, for the fact that he asked and made efforts to help him get out of the prison house.

The question arises why Joseph the righteous received such a great punishment for what he tried and asked for?

Rather, it is something that comes with a complete miracle from God, its power is the greatest power and its virtue is the greatest virtue. But when a person is less in faith and he worries and needs to make efforts, he lowers the strength and the level of devotion of salvation and of the miracle that happens to a person. Therefore, a person should To strive to achieve such great devotion and faith in God, that one does not need to make any efforts.

But if his faith is flawed and he has worries and he makes intercession, then he lowers the power of salvation and the miracle that happens to a person.

One who is extremely devoted to God does not need to make any effort in any matter, but a person whose faith is flawed does need to make effort, and this is a sign that his virtue is not the greatest.

And it is said about our Rabbi Baal Shem Tov that one of the Shabbats he was in a difficult situation where he had nothing to eat.

The Beshat arrived at a house, knocked a few times on the window and left. The owner of the house heard knocking, opened the door and saw no one, went out and started looking until he reached a Baal Shem Tov. He asked him why he knocked, the Baal Shem Tov told him Shabbat has come, I have nothing to eat And according to the state of my confidence in God, I came to the conclusion that just knocking a few knocks is the effort I need to make.

A person who has absolute faith and immense devotion does not need to make any effort.

The less strong the person's attachment and the less absolute the belief, the more effort he has to make in order to achieve what he needs.

Joseph the righteous was in the prison house, Joseph the righteous was one of the great fathers and the foundations of the people of Israel, therefore he was very careful not to make any intercession in the prison house, in order to pave the way that a Jew in the prison house would not need any intercession and God, through prayer, would help him get out of the prison house And so Yosef was careful why he even made intercession.

If we look at the two miracles of Purim and Hanukkah, in the miracle of Purim we find that there was no intercession "on that night the year of the king wandered" (Esther 6:1) Everything was miracles above nature without No intercession and that's why there is the Book of Esther. At Hanukkah there was intercession, the Greeks decreed severe decrees, the Hasmoneans stood and fought, there was intercession and we don't have any Megillah that reads about it.

In conclusion, Rabbi Pinto explained: One must know a great foundation, however great a person's confidence in G-d is, no effort is needed. No matter how great a person's confidence is, a person needs effort. Therefore, a person will strengthen it in his soul that all things will be with complete faith, a person who does not have Livelihood will be in perfect security in God.

A person who has no children will have perfect confidence in God. And when there is complete confidence in God, God helps a person to have great salvation without any effort.

And this is what King David says in the psalms, "raised to God in their throats and a double-edged sword in their hand" (Psalms Kamet, 6) when a person is in a state of "raised to God in their throat" in his throat and in prayer without intercession, then "and a double-edged sword in their hand" God Almighty helps him to be saved from any matter That is why a person should strengthen his soul with all his might with great confidence in God, and when he has great confidence he will have a great heavenly favor.

Hanukkah is a time in which there are great powers and we need to cling to G-d. We are in times of great concealment from G-d. The more we illuminate our lives with the light of Torah, with the light of devotion to G-d, we will be blessed with salvation and success and a great ascension.
