Boris Becker is out of prison.
Now he is giving his first emotional TV interview.
But that doesn't go down well with viewers.
Cologne – On April 29, 2022, Boris Becker (55) was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in a London court for delaying bankruptcy.
However, he is now back in Germany and reunited with his family.
On December 20, he answered the questions in an interview for the first time and thus encountered harsh criticism on the Internet.

British law allows prisoners to be released on parole once they have served half their sentence.
Boris Becker is said to have been registered for a program "that ensures that he gets home in time for Christmas".

In conversation with moderator Steven Gätjen (50), the tennis legend now unpacks about his stay in prison.
He reveals that inmates wanted to kill him and that he lost a lot of weight during his stay.
The tennis legend also gets very emotional.
But there are also nice things to report – Becker now wants to expand his family with girlfriend Lilian and even makes her a sweet declaration of love, as reported by heidelberg24.de.

Many viewers don't seem to like the fact that he's back home so early.
"Does he want to press his tear duct now?" Asks a Facebook user and judges: "It's probably because of his celebrity bonus that he's out again after a few months".
He is not alone with the criticism: "You can't listen to it, the whining, bad," writes another.
The broadcaster can also take criticism: "So ridiculous, a few months in prison and now they are making a riot as if he had been in prison for 10 years," writes a Facebook user.

Others, on the other hand, wish the tennis legend all the best: "A great, honest person who made mistakes, but learned from his mistakes and he stands by them.
He was exploited and too naive," said one fan. Another defended Becker: "Haters always hate.
He's only human, making mistakes in his life."
So the opinions on the interview differ widely.
The German Tennis Association is in contact with the recently released Boris Becker.
"Boris Becker has been an integral part of the German tennis family for decades.
His merits are and will remain unique,” explained the DTB.
